The Night Suite is a musical journey that intertwines dream and vision in five musical novels crossing imaginary soundscapes: from the evanescent reflections of a lake at dusk, to the hypnotic dance of the Red Sprites, up to the solitary journey of a snowflake towards the unknown and an epilogue that sets the air on fire and dissolves into a spherical mystery.
Through every movement returns the theme of the Waltz of the Fairies, Op. 11: a memory that wanders, combines with others and keeps changing shape. A work conceived entirely in the mind and sculpted on the composer's Bechstein D282, where extreme technique and poetry merge into a single vision.
